Some of those are technical classifications for things like official documents, census, birth certificates, etc. But when it comes to people talking about black individuals generally we just use black because we're mostly taught that assuming someone's family origin without knowing is stupid and ignorant(this obviously doesn't stop people from doing so, but by in large it's considered a no-no).

Ah no, if that were true broadly we wouldn't have our racism issues like we do. I think there's definitely a social intention of 'if you're born in the UK you're British, doesn't matter' in our culture which some people do absolutely ascribe by, but there's also a lot who don't and it gets very muddled into this 'sure they're British(but not really bc they're black/asian)' inside some people's heads.

It's a bit hard to describe honestly because it's weird, contradictory and confusing, but then socialized bigotries tend to be so.

Definitely English, but mixed. Some might go with black, but that one drop shit is for the yanks, he's mixed.
