Honestly, I'm fine with it? There's always going to be gatekeeping assholes, but it also depends who you're going as? I went as Gojyo (specifically his Reload season outfit), which basically is just pants, a white shirt, brown jacket, etc:

And the only comment I got was a half whispered, "That Gojyo has boooobs." lol.

But my gf went as Sanzo and we got some cute pics with a Hakkai who even had a tiny Jeep plush which was fucking adorable.
