Secret OP, yes, but not the thread OP. And I'm not sure why one should try to argue otherwise: superhero comic media IS Americentric. Like, what else would it be? Do we question why mecha media is all about Japan? It's that being Americentric is not inherently a bad thing like the thread OP seems to think.

I agree that American superhero comics are Americentric.

I just don't see how not doing a superhero arms race is an example of that.
