(Anonymous) 2022-10-10 01:36 am (UTC)(link)Yeah, Texas at least has some great Brutalist places; is the birthplace of Dr. Pepper; and has some pretty good food. I still need to attend their state fair to see how it stacks up to Minnesota's (although I suspect I'll be biased in my assessment). So Texas has some redeeming qualities, which makes it better than Mississippi (which really is a dump, at least the parts I saw en route to New Orleans a few years back).
