Currently living the alone life with my dog and books. It's really great in a lot of ways.

I do actually really want to be in a relationship, but am afraid of your situation. All my friends in hetero relationship are in the shitty pattern of the women taking care of the man. The women do the vast majority of the cleaning, cooking, household planning, and emotional labor. I have a chronic illness and can't take care of anyone else besides me and my dog.
