If it was just him blowing up his personal life that would be one thing, but he had an affair with a subordinate which is a massive can of worms in the best circumstances and this action is going to cost the friends he started a business with a shit-ton of money. Sure they'll come back from it, but that doesn't negate the damage that's he done and I don't think this would have been as bad if he hadn't made his entire brand 'his wife', but he did so now he has to live with the consequences of fucking that up.

This was financial and emotional strife caused to his family and friends, he absolutely deserve to suffer for that.

But the point of this secret is that his wife is having this awful incident in her life analyzed over and over in public as if it's an important political news story or something by people who don't even know her. SHE doesn't deserve that. Do you think she wants thousands of people talking about this all day every day and getting hits and subscribers and money and clout from her suffering without doing jackshit to help her in a way that matters?
