I bet you think the flat female love interests in male-dominated shows are the most interesting and underrated characters and that fans only ignore them because they're sexist.

That's a great straw-man you have there. Allow me to assuage your fears. I like male characters fine. I consume plenty of content centered on male characters. It's when the content is ONLY about the male characters, sometimes to the extent that it overshadows female characters with bigger and stronger roles, that I get frustrated.

And a side note, but I'm fascinated by the implication that female love interests in male-dominated shows aren't regularly treated drastically unfairly by fandom as a whole lmao
