I greatly enjoyed Jaskier as a character until I started dipping my toes into the Witcher fandom and found lots of fans who thought he was a main character on the same level as Geralt and got angry when he wasn't in every other scene.

Sometimes you just have to step back from fandom and enjoy things on your own terms.

Not a fan here, but I assumed from all the GIFs on Tumblr that he was a main character. I thought the core three were Geralt, Jaskier, and Yennefer.
