I'm also ace, and also had kind of a crush on Five (not Aiden)--even back in S1 when the actor playing him was uncomfortably young. He's very charismatic, and his whole dark, lean, and angular aesthetic is 100% my type, insofar as I have a type.

I wouldn't say my crushes are entirely unsexual, but the sexual component of them is amorphous and hard to pin down. Like, the character makes me go Hnnnn, yummy, and my Id makes grabby hands at them, but the moment I try to imagine actually touching them, my brain is like, "What is the point of this? I do not understand the point of this. This is not an engaging train of thought, let's think about something else." This was true for Five (thankfully), but is also true for every character I feel attracted to. *shrug* Sexuality is fucking complicated, man.

...this sounds very familiar to my experiences/thoughts. Like, all these horny thoughts flood through my mind but if I actually try to imagine the actual acts I'm thinking, I'm like "Ew. Sensations. Gross."

Very few times in my life where my thoughts have gone far enough to think, "Would I want this person to really do this with me?" and felt a little hot or something?

I always say I'm queer because I really don't know how to define my sexuality but wondering if I'm aroace/ace has been part of my queer journey.
