I've just been deleting a lot of random secrets that are recycling ancient FS memes ("can't unsee these unrelated pictures, would hit random thing, I wish this scene had ended in 'hot non-con sex'") and one person that makes a different secret about a certain actor every week trying to be as wacky as possible.

I knew most of mine wouldn’t meet your standard but had to check if any would. I have five fics that meet your threshold, two of which are very popular with 2k and 3k kudos respectively. But my most popular fic has 9k kudos and it’s only 1,679 words.
I don’t pay attention to word count when I’m writing or reading except to cap word count in filtering at 60k in large fandoms. If there’s a good fic longer than that, I’ll have read it from a rec list or by having clicked the author’s name from a well written shorter piece long before diving into long fic for that fandom.

I guess this person hates the New Yorker and other sources of great short fiction! I bet yours are great.
