Yeah, the Pagan Dawn magazine used to have a regular columnist (Old Dot) who was an utter asshole because she tried to live like that IRL. She was insufferable; partly because that attitude is just exhausting, but mainly because if you don't have the author of the narrative backing you up then you are just wrong most of the time.
