No movie has done more to make English people learn Scottish history than Braveheart, but only so they can all say "yeah, but it isn't historically accurate". Because if there is one thing that is central to the English national character it is their goddamn fragile insecurity when it comes to the rest of the home nations. I exclude Cornwall from the England part, obviously, Kernow Bys Vyken!
