... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice. Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made.

I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

Star Trek Strange New Worlds is okay, it is better than Discovery -not that that is hard-, but it is still not a patch on Prodigy or Lower Decks. Who woulda thought that we live in a world where the live-action Trek is inferior to the animated. The world is turned upside down.

I don't know why people find forming a D&D party so hard: "You all meet in an inn, where you were too drunk to avoid the press gang sent out by the king after the last group of adventurers ended up... Well that isn't important right now, those poor sons of bi... Anyway, you are a party now and better get on with it. Also, there is treasure too". See, it works for everything. You can replace King with Mayor, or Judge, or Don, or whatever the local authority figure happens to be.

I want more shows set in Scotland that are not twee-Highlandism or grinding poverty and drug use. That seems to be the only type of entertainment that Hollywood and especially the BBC can set in Scotland though.

I was confused why there are so many stories about vampires in Europe, but not in Africa.
Then I remembered that vampires are killed by holy water.

(fandom is Star Trek: Lower Decks) It would be super ironic if the one Trek show dedicated to making fun of overdone Star Trek cliches managed to be the, literally, only Trek show that could bring something new and interesting to the played out Section 31 stuff.

I get what they were going for, but I think I would have preferred it if She-Hulk had ended a little more conventionally. I'm glad it worked for some people though.

When people ask why I became an HGV driver I usually tell them it was because I loved "Smokey and the Bandit" as a kid, but really it was Long Distance Clara [from "Pigeon Street"] who was my inspiration. I worry that the cartoon would be too "woke" for modern folk to cope with (she's the truckie, her hubbie is the say at home cook).

I hate that every fandom community has descended into toxicity in an unprecedented amount in the last ten years, everyone is competing to point out what they consider "mistakes" or "plot holes" or screaming about things or people being problematic, and everybody seems to want to be the absolute worst in doing so. Can't we just enjoy stuff again? There was always the toxic assholes, but now they've taken over. Even here, there is no call to ever tell another FSer to "fuck off" ever.

No movie has done more to make English people learn Scottish history than Braveheart, but only so they can all say "yeah, but it isn't historically accurate". Because if there is one thing that is central to the English national character it is their goddamn fragile insecurity when it comes to the rest of the home nations. I exclude Cornwall from the England part, obviously, Kernow Bys Vyken!

A lot of my friends in the fandom like the idea of Nancy and Eddie having a friendship similar to Steve and Robin's... but I HATE 'Eddie and Nancy are best friends' stuff, almost as much as I hate 'Nancy gives Eddie the shovel talk when he and Steve get together'.

I think Star Wars Andor is pretty decent, but it suffers from dropping one week at a time. It really needs to be binged, or even be a movie.

I love tv shows about secret hidden, quasi magical, worlds. Neverwhere and the 80s Beauty and the Beast show are probably the best of them. I think I might be the only one though, because nobody else seems to ever watch them.

I think the Japanese Trailer for Disney/Pixar's "Brave" is for a much different and darker movie than we got here in the West. I loved Brave, don't get me wrong, but I kinda wish we'd got the movie that the Japanese trailer seemed to be promising.

The single largest source of my depression right now is that fandom-creators who want to make things have to find a way to make money doing it rather than just being able to make stuff because they want to make stuff.

The thing I hate about Star Trek Prodigy is that its premise is that Janeway lost yet another ship in a far off part of the galaxy. What was the conversation in Starfleet when that happened? "Hey, ya hear about Kathy Janeway's special new project?" "Yeah, we even gave her a desk job and she still lost the ship" "Women drivers, amirite?". It turns Trek's first female captain into a running gag.

I’ve enjoyed the Rings of Power show, but part of me would kinda prefer it if it were just a show about the Harfoots migrating around Middle Earth. I just want to see what kind of hijinks those little folks get up to.

Daria fans seem to hate the episode where the show becomes a musical, and they are wrong. Musical episodes are awesome, from Buffy to Scrubs they are awesome, why the hate on the Daria one?.
