House Of The Dragon is honestly terrible. It's glaringly obvious that the writers just want to be done with the setup and get to the fighting already and everything suffers for it. Plots are set up only to be abandoned because next episode is far into the future, character beats that would need at least a full episode to explore are given five minutes at most, the second generation are one note and boring, not mention being recast so often just makes it confusing.
I have zero confidence that they'll manage to pull of the actual Dance of the Dragons in any interesting way.
