It didn't make me literally pee myself, but it did scare the piss out of me metaphorically. I remember it making me scream out loud, which is rare for horror movies to achieve. J-horror does atmosphere SO much better than Western horror, IMHO.

I haven't gotten round to seeing this movie - but I had to agree about how good Japanese horror is. My Dad is a big horror fan, but watching The Ring was the first movie I had ever seen him jump at in fear while watching it lol.
