I haven't really loved any of the MLPs after the originals (which were my childhood ones) tbh, but these are truly the worst.

yeah you do not under any circumstances have to hand it to Freaks (1932). but I think OP's sentiment is still fair even without defending Freaks as a movie

I think...is this about maybe wishing that your problems were caused by something epic rather than not understanding why you ended up the way you did. You wish you'd Failed Big instead of failed in an ordinary way, because then it would feel more justified. Like, all my childhood I was told "don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs, don't have promisicous sex, it'll ruin your life" and I didn't do those things. But my life was ruined anyway and people are so confused by that.
