I have strep throat again. So going to be trying to rest. I also adopted a dog but I don't think he'll work out. He has attacked my sister's dog multiple times so I think he'll be going back tomorrow. :(

My car needs an oil change. So that.

Mine needs one next month. :(

Tomorrow morning my kitty has a vet visit. In the afternoon dad and I are marathoning Rings of Power (as many episodes as we can get through before mom wants to watch something).

No plans other than rest and laundry for sunday.

I've watched it all, he's only watched the first two episodes. I enjoyed it enough to rewatch, though, and it is fun to watch together.

Took care of some car stuff today but will probably research some transportation options in advance of some more car stuff in the near future. Other than that, might do some cleaning in the apartment, and hopefully some fic writing and/or a bit of gaming.

Well, protectant has been wearing away but it's accelerated in the last couple of months. I unfortunately don't live in a place where I can keep it from the elements. Figured I should do something about it before things start rusting. Maybe that sounds ridiculous compared to the brake or tire problems I've had in the past but I intend to keep this car as long as possible.

Oh that all sounds awful! And poor doggo, is there any chance you can separate him from your sisters dog while everyone settles in and then let them get acquainted a bit at a time? Sorta like with introducing a new cat to the house. Obviously it isn’t going to work then it isn’t going to work, just trying to brainstorm ways to help you all and spare him going back because so often that’s a death sentence for them.

The rescue I got him from is no kill! They will find him a good home eventually.

We have separated them several times but I think he just doesn't like bigger dogs.

Since the weather is actually supposed to be mid-70s after a week of mid-40s, I was hoping to go do some cosplay photoshooting with nice colored autumn leaves.

However, I got my covid booster yesterday and am not really feeling up to doing all the prep I need to do for the costume I really want to shoot, so probably will just keep obsessively writing fic or something.

Yeah, the covid shots have all knocked me out for a day. Hope you feel better!

Thanks! It's actually not TOO bad, I managed to do my job today and finish a draft of a chapter... but then I tried to go take a walk in the park to get a Pokemon Go gym overnight and both walking and even sitting up to drive was apparently not wise. :P

I hope you have a speedy recovery. Sounds like a good decision on the dog but I'm sorry he didn't work out.

I'm working Sunday like usual but I have tomorrow off. I'm going to do laundry and watch more of Because This is My First Life. Fake marriage and emotionally unavailable male characters with potential are my jam so I'm enjoying it so far.
