And the idea that the only reason to write about it is if you're an adult fantasizing about fucking teenagers, which is total bullshit. Every adult on earth used to be a teenager and has memories of what it's like. You own your own experiences and you're allowed to use them any way you please. And if you never got a chance to explore the way you wanted as a teen (queer and not out, strict upbringing, etc), it is also totally fine to write about how you think it could have been.
