I'm a big fan of tortured pretty boys, but I get it, OP. Actual monster vampires are cool, too. It's a shame there isn't more diversity and range in this subgenre.

That being said I don't mind the tortured pretty-boy aspect sometimes, but it dominates vampire-depictions as a whole and yeah... I find it boring, but hey YMMV and all.

Aw don't worry OP there's nothing wrong with liking the more PG stuff.

Although I don't mind the scary stuff, watching Over the Garden Wall has become a tradition for me every year alongside with Nightmare Before Christmas and It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. It's especially great when I watch horror on the heavier side and I have something cute to look forward to.

I just recently watched it for the first time and found it a letdown. Not horrible, but... I was expecting something more from it? It felt like the potential for a pretty great movie was right there but wasn't actually met.

lol this reminds me of the time I got booby-trapped by a Supernatural fic years ago. I was scrolling through getting into the story and suddenly there was a porn gif that was suppose to look like one of the characters (apparently the author had accidentally put it into the wrong section of the fic and was suppose to go where the smut began - either way I wasn't ready for they eye-full of ass and balls that I saw!)

Been arguing with family about dumb shit that's really not worth getting angry about, but on the plus side I got some great stuff at the thrift store (a fancy button up that's baggy enough on me, some necklaces and a rare book on lolita fashion that blew my mind when I found it since it was in such good condition).
