4. While I'd like to think it wasn't even enough to prompt something like this, I can't exactly say I enjoy having people bring it up from time to time. There's a lot of fun rumours out there these days from what I've heard from a friend of mine. I'm beginning to wonder if even I know what allegedly happened any longer.

7. I do the same thing. I used to buy music, but lately I listen to such random off the wall stuff, I can't because Best Buy simply doesn't carry it and Best Buy shut down all the local music stores.

9. Well, I tend overboard with putting warnings if I post something into a community sometimes because I wouldn't want to be at work and click onto something and even have a picture of two people in an slightly intimate position just because. Then again, even in my old office where I had a locked door I wouldn't check anything outside of LJ and my gmail because I didn't want someone somehow finding other stuff I did. And I always cleared the history trails and cookies.

10. But in fandom we're all supposed to love one another and play nice all the time because someone might get their feelings hurt and cry and cut themselves. Fandom is like anything in life, not everyone's going to like you, you're not going to like everyone else, you find people you can co-exist with and go.

14. I honestly have no idea. I guess someone tells you, but even then there are going to be others out there who might not think the same. I don't think most BNFs really know there BNFs unless it gets plastered everywhere. I dunno, ask one of your fandom friends maybe.

14. I have the same exact question. :/ I run well known communities, am friends with a couple of bonified BNFs, and have been around a while in particular fandoms, but... how can you tell? After all, to ask someone whether you are or not would be pretty damn presumptuous, and your close friends (the people you could ask without coming off as haughty and arrogant) ironically probably have less of an idea of your popularity since they know you personally and don't have an idea of your popularity from an outside viewer's perspective.

So yeah. It's a tough situation. One of my friends said I was kind of a BNF, but... I'm not sure. :/ If I am, I'd like to know if I have a good or bad reputation. ._.

Paradisa has been getting way more notoriety lately at this comm, so the fact that you're getting so sarcastically defensive over Paixao perhaps proves why the wank for these two particular RP communities is so long lived when posts about other RPs haven't even turned into wank in the first place.

This mostly sounds like another thing done to pick at me and the members in order to piss us off and get more drama started, really. :) Just like this comment!

That's what all the secrets seem to have been made for, after all, and that's why things are still being picked at. I didn't do anything but make the game, unfortunately.

I actually have no affiliation with Paixao, as a wanker, player, or otherwise, and I don't want to get drama started or piss you off. After all, the fact that you're writing off a negative comment as that is telling of how you don't want to hold yourself accountable for your own wank, which is exactly my point.. Perhaps if you took critical coments of you and your comm more seriously, instead of chalking them up as trivialities and thinking yourself as above them, the wank wouldn't have escalated to such a point that your comm is now infamous for it.

What I'm saying is that there's a reason these two comms are plagued with wank whereas other comms have been mentioned and no wank has gone down at all, and it would be better for the players and mods to reflect upon those reasons and try to fix problems, or at least respond civilly, instead of lashing out and assuming all the complaints are to "getting drama started" and trying to "piss you off."

Pretty damn arrogant, if you ask me, and I think that kind of outlook is more of a cause of bad press than anything secret-posters could ever put up.

To prove that I am not here to cause drama, I'll bow out now unless you severely misunderstand my statements. I've said my piece.
