mostly wishful thinking that an old-as-fuck niche short story gets a netflix adaption, in comparison to an internationally pretty well known series by an internationally well known author

I can think of several old, niche stories that I would love to see get a live action or even cool animated adaptation. It would be so awesome!

there's a sandman cartoon short that is absolutely TERRIFYING that was done by that same animator that does those Puffs tissue commercials. I saw it years ago and was not warned about how scary it was; that was years ago and to this day I cringe every time I see those kids on the Puffs boxes
