You know, I was super into CSI when I was in middle school, but I don't think I ever actually read any CSI fic. I don't really know why I didn't tbh. The concept of this fic you describe is oddly hilarious to me though. I mean, I don't doubt that it was written to be dark/sexy/disturbing and it probably was, but the thought of a legally binding BDSM contract juxtaposed with the CSI-verse is really funny to me

That's fair - to be honest once I had discovered that fanfiction was a thing, the first thing I did was to see how many forms of media that I had ever consumed in my life up until then had fanfiction. Then of course I would find fic title/summaries that would catch my eye and fall further down the rabbit hole.
