I’m really curious what this is. I’m used to kids appearing in the final episode, not during the course of the story.

My first thought was a soap opera. I think there are a couple still around? I haven't watched any since I was young with my mom but I feel like there were always couples having kids on them.

All I can think of is Shrek, but the secret says kid -- singular and show, not franchise.

Or one of the 911 shows. Chimney and Maddie on the original and Grace and Judd on Lone Star have had kids during the show.
