(Anonymous) 2022-11-02 11:05 am (UTC)(link)He recently has been deleting Tweets if there's even a little bit of pushback. The most current example is a thread asking why the beating of Paul Pelosi hasn't had more prominence in the media. In particular, he stated while it did make the front page of the New York Times it should have gotten more space than the latest development in the Twitter leadership saga. I only knew about the deletion because I replied saying that I felt the Twitter info was a bigger deal because it could pitentially open the door to more attacks like this.
The way I see it, Hank's put in some work to maintain a real clean cut image of his public persona. However, he's starting to show more consistent signs of wavering in that regard. Personally, I'd rather see him defend an unpopular but sincere opinion publicly rather than delete Tweets. If he's not going to do that, though, he ought to do the next best thing and pause before putting out a Tweet (thread).
