Oh this was me as well with both Seven & Ace and Tegan & Five - both women meeting their Doctor was such a sweet moment I didn't expect it at all - its been a VERY long time since Doctor Who has made me cry.

Tegan asking the Doctor what she was thinking with all the Cybermen out there and the Doctor simply saying, “Adric”, got me all teary-eyed.

I choked up at this and Five meeting Tegan again tbh. I know it was nostalgia manipulation but I don't care. I thought it was sweet to finally allow some of the classic Doctors their canon moment and explore further the idea of being left behind as a companion.
