Man, seconding all of this.

Also, she's probably not actually the most successful businesswoman in America

Rihanna, for example, is worth 1.7B (nearly three times Taylor's net worth), the bulk of which comes from the success of Fenty. Not that her music career didn't slay, mind you, I'm just saying it's not where the vast majority of her net worth came from. At the end of the day, if you're determined, skilled, and very, very lucky, being a musical artist might make you rich. But no matter how much you tour and no matter how much tour merch you sell, a career in music is nowhere near the best way of succeeding in Business.

People extoll Taylor's business savvy not because she's the best at succeeding in business period, but because she's basically a mastermind at the business side of being a musical artist specifically.

Rihanna (and also Beyonce, while we're at filthy rich female singers) aren't white though, so it's not nearly as much fun and games to hate on them for every little thing.
