Well, at least I'm coherent and hate all musical episodes.

(Anonymous) 2022-11-06 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Coherent?

(Anonymous) 2022-11-06 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I think they mean codependent.

(Anonymous) 2022-11-06 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Pretty sure they mean they are covalent.

(Anonymous) 2022-11-06 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
You're thinking about chemical bonds. I'm sure they meant they are coagulable.

This mini-thread was a delight and I thank you all for making it!

"Definition of coherent
1a: logically or aesthetically ordered or integrated : CONSISTENT
coherent style
a coherent argument"

(Anonymous) 2022-11-06 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I think of it as meaning basically "does it all hang together adequately"

(Anonymous) 2022-11-06 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
AYRT

Huh, I thought I knew what coherent meant, as in I knew what people meant when they said “a coherent argument” or “incoherent rambling”. But I didn’t know it was also synonymous with consistent. Thanks!

Some of us don't like musical episodes period

(Anonymous) 2022-11-06 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm an original run Daria fan, and I've always thought Daria! The Musical and Depth Takes A Holiday were way better episodes than the fandom wanted to acknowledge.

Daria! deserves credit if only for Wendy Hoopes harmonizing with herself as both Helen and Quinn in "Don't They Know? (I can't leave yet)."

You have my sword, OP.

Agreed on this.

I hate all musical episodes. I couldn't even get through the Always Sunny one and I actually wanted to like that one.
