Well, there are two main types of Sims players. Those who live to torture them, and those like you and me, who love to make their lives as perfect as we wish ours could be.

I think the other kind might live somewhere in my subconscious, though, based on the number of times I've had dreams about not being able to access a toilet.

Butler is a so-so singer, but he absolutely nailed the acting part of it. If it had been an adaptation of the novel, played for drama, then he'd have been great for the part.

I've seen the musical and I still like the 2004 movie.
It's just one of the many adaptions of the book that have been made.

I am so tired of people being against capitalism only when they're thinking of all the ways it makes their life hell, but being really gung-ho about using it as a stick to beat other people with. Exactly like this.

On the one hand, fandom unhappy with lack of food, shelter, medical care, and other things people die without. Fair. On the other hand, joblessness as the "deserved consequence" for doing something stigmatized? Please.

On average, I find both pretty lacking in believability. Although it depends on what American accent is being done, to be fair. New York accents, for instance, have a higher success rate for British actors than Southern accents. And there’s also a decent success rate for more Midwestern accents, or whatever the actual term is when Americans say they “don’t have an accent”, even though that’s an accent in and of itself.

Americans doing British accents on the other hand, rarely ever works.
