Lookit that good boi! That little face! So happy for you; getting a new pet is the most exciting thing. He looks like a Bucky to me, too.

My weekend was mostly burnout from work and university, I think I ceased to function at some point on Saturday evening. (Windows shutdown noise) It'll be my first Christmas at this job too and I'm bracing because everyone says it gets absolutely hectic.

Yup, good old retail. We do big handmade hampers and I'm told people businesses tend to order bunches of them for Christmas. Apparently year before last we got an order for 300 of them (an employer thanking all their staff for working through lockdown, which is so sweet but oh god I'm just learning how to make them and the idea of 300 makes me want to dissolve)

We did DHL at my last job and guaranteed every year there would be people kicking off because we told them that no, this package to your son on the other side of the world will not arrive in time for Christmas, which is 48 hours from now. :
