I was trying to find the words for different kinds of media without just using a ton of dashes (ie: fic I wanted to read/videos I wanted to watch/posts I wanted to reblog/games I wanted to play). So I settled on something I thought would cover everything, after deliberating on the word choice for a while of backspacing different words. Plus, the streamer that I wanted to watch the VOD and read the chat log for calls his streams “content” or “tent”, and refers to watching it as consuming it. So I thought it would be fitting, even if I would have preferred a better word to use for other websites I was talking about outside of Twitch that aren’t these streams.

Sorry the choice I ended up using was so offensive to you? But I don’t really need sympathy for this, even if it’s always appreciated when people express it. Especially if a word choice so minor is all it takes for you to decide someone is unworthy of it. I just wanted to vent a minor annoyance into the ether. And see if anyone else wanted to do the same.
