Not familiar with this game, but that sounds frustrating. I can't stand it when it's one big toss-up in fights. I get that there should be challenges and you should figure out some kind of strategy, but it's annoying to have the difficulty level all over the place. Not even "hey, let's approach this from a different angle because what we usually do doesn't work," I mean "cutting through a bunch of enemies with ease only to be assraped by the boss within 15 seconds, and it's in real time so you don't even have time to assess him, AND it's not a fight you're supposed to lose" or varying difficulty levels of bosses and not for reasons that might tie to the story. Idk, maybe I'm spoiled and miss the days when you just played through a game knowing what to expect, and saved the insane challenge for the hidden boss.
