Have you seen the CBS/Paramount+ show 'Evil' yet? It's the closest thing to an X-Files/Supernatural reboot airing at the moment.

A trio is hired by the Catholic Church to investigate claims of haunted houses, demonic possesions, miracles, etc. The mythology is mostly religion based but not solely contained to Catholicism. One episode featured a djinn, another voodoo (in a non-exploitative way). The show maintains a suitably spooky atmosphere and case by case the episodes vary greatly. 3 season are available and a 4th has already been ordered by the network.
