Agreed on it being possible for there being 'too much health'

I want to read about a relationship based on established character dynamics that I find interesting

I don't want to read a cookie cutter PSA tract on how to respectfully communicate with your partner

That said, I probably would take healthy relationship fics over fics with unhealthy dynamics that are narratively portrayed as healthy (i.e. aren't written as unhealthy on purpose or as a kink thing). Those really grind my gears.
