Same, but with fanvids instead of tiktok. Turns out many songs that I associate with a niche corner of a nerdy hobby are extremely well known in the world of the non-nerdy because, as I've found out, Twenty One Pilots and Imagine Dragons are basic-ass mainstream bands.

There's a good reason for that - Elizabeth being queen meant that she set the fashion trends. Having not had a queen to do so for a long time, designers for the court/nobility decided the in-thing to honor her majesty would be to make the men's designs more feminine - narrower waists, emphasis on hips, etc. Narrow-waisted doublets and big poofy pants were supposed to evoke the gloriousness of the queen's femininity, so it's almost natural that they'd also flatter actual women's figures.

The history of men's fashion in the West is a trip, yall.
