CW for nonexplicit discussions of assault

Sadly, this Tweet may not be the best example. He posted a Tweet a few weeks ago asking why The New York Times made the Twitter ownership change its top headline instead of the assault of Paul Pelosi. That Tweet was deleted after I replied stating that tye Twitter shenanigans deserve higher billing because Musk's plsns would likely prompt more violence like this. I know my Tweet had zero impact here, but I thought this action showed he did not stop consider the consequences of being so public with a take like that.

They really led with Twitter that day? Yikes. Gotta say I agree with this guy. International media lead with the attack on the Pelosis because outside of America that kind of attack is viewed as extreme and shocking. Twitter and Elon weren’t rated as highly.

Maybe this is just a non-Twitter-user take, but from my perspective, this kind of describes...all of Twitter.

Sounds to me like he asked a fair question though. You might not agree with it and that's fine, but a violent assault on the spouse of the person third in line for the Presidency (which probably started as an assassination attempt on her) seems like massive headline news to me. What exactly are the "consequences" of being public with a perfectly reasonable take supposed to be?
