Is it redemption even if you don't like it? Hmm. Are the characters good now? Then yes. It's redemption.

I mean. They're very much not "good now". They're just taking actual steps to not be completely horrible anymore (Lydia) and being victims themselves (Serena). Actual change and redemption has /started/ but I definitely wouldn't say it's finished. I'm interested to see where they go, and I love both of the characters, but their respective redemptions have only just begun.
