Dunno. Probably you can't get out of it if you are taking your kids to the movies. Even though I think Marvel things are PG-13 and I think you totally can do anything else while your teenagers watch. But every other case you just don't watch it. Your spouse watches? You go read a book or something. Or go with your friends out. Your friends going to the movies? You can go with them to have food later.

Yes, sometimes it's isolating and it's easier to agree to watch. But it's still possible if you are not a doormat you really don't like them.
Yes, I ended up watching movies I am not really into for other people in my life. But it's not a one movie, also it's your life stop torturing yourself for others it's not healthy.
