fic writers that stick to the same themes are my favorite. Posting by chapters is the best way to get feedback. Not sure about the rl details as people usually don't comment on them. Or is it a thing in young fandoms?

Tbh, I think a lot of people write in their own situations or aspects of it into certain moments of their fic. I only say this because I've read some fics where you can just tell (even if it's not shoehorned into the narrative -- it's just very clear. Sometimes it's a wish fulfillment thing, other times it's what you're describing). In any case, it's fic, and I'm glad it's doing something for you.

He looks good, but as a youth, I thought he was so gorgeous. I was watching his 80s primetime movies in the late 90s/early 2000s when I was a kid. Nowadays, I'm not hot for him like I was then, but he could still chat me up. He has aged like a fine wine. Mmmm.
