Hey maybe only tangentially related but: There's a post on Twitter calling any girls below 5'7 "child-coded" thus it's a red-flag for shipping. As an adult whose height is just below 5'3 I don't know how to feel about this.

5'7" is actually on the tall side for a woman, or above average anyway, at least looking at US statistics. Not that I'm saying there should be an actual minimum height but that one is just ridiculous.

I keep being reminded of that one post on scrupulosity-comics on Tumblr where the writer (with OCD) is wondering if a lot of this unhinged discourse is coming from people who don't realize coming up with infinite "rules" for what makes a person a good person, and then going around bullying other people for not living up to their made-up and ever-increasing standard is actually pretty appalling behavior. As opposed to, you know, "morality."

I'm 5'6"; that's average height for a female. Anything over that or 5'7" is considered tall for a woman.

I (5'10) told my wife (5'3) this and she finds it hysterical. She hopes it means that she can stop working, since it would be child-coded labor.
