I can knit by feel... Which means I can read and knit, among other things.

I'm also a master at my craft and my "tv knitting" is sometimes more complex than other people's "intense focus knitting."

But subtitled shows do make it hard to work on complex stuff, which does sideline certain properties because I watch stuff primarily to occupy the rest of me while my hands are busy. (The opposite of the idle hands problem??)

I can knit by feel...

Me too. For me simple patterns (stocking, rib, moss, etc) are almost muscle memory. Once I get the flow going I can easily pay attention to other things. I've never tried knitting and reading though. That's a new one to me.

It was really helpful when I was studying for my certification exams! Made it much easier to sit in my seat.
