My major qualm with this is like any data collection when pertaining to entertainment media: these stats show us what's popular, not so much what's special or good and using this to make new things will only keep creating mundane shit. Everything has something that appeals a little to everyone in someway and it's all done based upon a formula because formulas work. And...it makes a lot of stuff feel so homogeneous.
But yeah, the fear of having your stuff be collected and somehow repurposed isn't my greatest concern since it happens with or without the AI bots. It still makes me feel uneasy but all tech does, even the stuff I enjoy.

What I'm most bothered by is this feels like yet another attack on creativity. Turning art into something to fit into neat boxes for mass consumption. Curating for mass consumption, not really because someone wants to tell their story/have their voice heard. That's what I'm afraid of, angry about.
