Yeah - my RPF has occasionally dipped into real-world stuff (parents/siblings names, born here, actor), but for the most part, I basically only wanted the actor's face/familiarity to the readers for a story that was, 99.9%, original work.

I think most of the RPF i read back in the day was like that; the stuff that hewed really closely to the REAL real life was always a little....much.

It does get tiresome when people annoy actors with that kind of thing. Just...don't, people. It's rude as fuck.
