That’s definitely not the case in the fandom spaces around the videos of Not So Average Fan Girl. She’s an open Lumity fan, who’s in her 20s. And several of her fans are too. And the teens that are in her fanbase aren’t against that. The only people who look down on her for being an adult shipping Lumity and other ships from kids shows are snobby adults and/or homophobes.

That’s not to say that you’re not right about most other places being hostile to adults even being around Lumity works, much less adults who openly ship it in general. Because that is unfortunately true. NSAF/Elijah just has a relatively safe haven built around her community from that.
