I have this one really long slave-fic AU I've been working on. I'm never going to post it and probably won't ever finish it, but it's kind of nice to have this dark fic I can take my emotions out on or just write without worrying so much about it being good (in more ways than one). So I totally get the "wanting to acknowledge I'm working on this, but don't want to talk about it with anyone I know because it's too weird" thing!
FWIW I think your fic sounds interesting.
