Can relate. I'm very fond of the DBZ manga, through the first several story arcs, and seeing stuff with the guys out in the world still makes me really happy.

I can sort of relate. I loved The Lion King a lot as a kid, and had all the lines and songs memorized, and then I rewatched my VHS copy one time after coming back from uni, and felt terrible because I just didn't connect with Scar anymore. He seemed petulant and ineffectual instead of brooding and magnificent, and I felt like such a traitor for having somehow lost my empathy for this character, in between. It was a weird and disturbing experience.
