Celebrity/creator interviews

(Anonymous) 2022-12-11 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
I'm working my way through a creator interview that's almost four hours long and contains a ton of heavy material (think discussing fraud and risk tolerance). It's...rough going, and I need a break.

Does anyone want to share their favorite interviews or talk about these kinds of things in general?

Discussion of fraud sounds interesting - deets on the interview/ creator?

OP

Here it is!

I will say whoever is responsible for editing/uploading these interviews is really good at titling and timestamping the various segments. It is a bit mire digestible this way. So props to that person for good formatting.

I like these ones.

The Buzzfeed puppy interviews are pretty cute (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=buzzfeed+puppy+interviews). Especially these:

Keanu Reeves - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOqUiXhECos
Tom Holland - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX9mF288Tb8 (there's also a more recent one)

I also like Wired's Autocomplete Interviews (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLibNZv5Zd0dwjZFCTVZ8QdKq194CkwXjo). Especially these:

Joe Keery and Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EvMYEfF_hQ
Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2VZ_OGz0RU
Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CA-e5eWB7eg&list=PLibNZv5Zd0dwjZFCTVZ8QdKq194CkwXjo&index=136

Graham Norton Interviews can be a lot of fun, too.

There's a few interviews I really liked, they're usually with some kind of artist/I saw it live?

But the one that comes to mind right now is the dude who made his own film by hand, it's on YouTube, it took him 4 years and he was lucky enough to kinda rent space from the manga/anime studio he used to work for... it's like a 7 minute film (drawn). If anyone knows what I'm talking about please link it lol

What do you like about it?

I think there are two things that differentiate Wednesday from other Netflix shows with similar styles. One, it has very clear, effective episodic structures and narrative through-lines. And two, the cast is phenomenal, especially Ortega.

Apparently Christopher Judge (Teal'c from SG-1) won best performance at the Game Awards (presented by Al Pacino!) and it makes me happy.
