Santa Baby is at least subtextually about wanting to bang Santa

Technically, the original and most of the covers are about how much ""Santa"" owes his sugar baby for being such a good girl for him all year, and the implication is that they're already banging on the regular.

Michael Buble might subtextually want to bang the literal Santa Claus.

TSwift doesn't want to bang anyone. She just wants her damn yacht.

You know, that's really not quite how her version plays out. The emotional center of Taylor's version is the "Think of all the boys I haven't kissed" line IMO which is actually a very strange angle to take on Santa Baby when you think about it.

If you go with the "singing to her dad" angle, it kind of ties in with that weird "dad's gonna shoot you if you come around here again" angle that pops up in a few songs in Taylor's early albums.
