I haven't seen the sequel yet, but I thought they were so cute in the first movie. A lot of my friends dunked on the fact that Nancy ran off with a guy she had known for like an hour, but like, it's a Disney fairytale movie. They look nice together and they both deserved a happy ending. (Also IIRC there were one or two deleted scenes showing Nancy was secretly a Big Hopeless Romantic who actually did want a Prince Charming-type, so it makes more sense that she would go for Edward.)

I watched Enchanted for the first time in over a decade recently, and there was a lot of hinting that Nancy was a big romantic prior to her eloping! I actually liked her a lot because of that fun little piece of personality.

yeah. I don't mind this new movie, concept-wise at least. Gisele having to parent and socialize and not knowing how to do that without relying on fairy tale tropes? hilarious. but I really do hope that one day they focus on the Nancy and Edward. Marsden is so good when you let him be ridiculous.

I liked the new movie and thought it was cute, but I do wish we could've gotten a little more of Nancy and Edward. I just love them together.
