Are there any?

r/hammerdrama (about the Armie Hammer situation)

Every now and then r/DeadBedrooms dishes out an absolute banger. Better than reality television.

r/LongFurbies
r/holdmybeer
r/ThingsCutInHalfPorn
r/slowcooking

I like
r/hobbydrama

It's just interesting to see what's going on on different corners of different hobbies (some I've never even heard of before!).

If you have any hobbies? I like to check out the chill subreddits that have to do with my latest hobby.

Yes! I think I actually discovered r/HobbyDrama through a rec by someone on F!S. I really like learning about drama and details of hobbies I know nothing about. And the community tends to be pretty chill and respectful.

I like to evaluate posts in r/AmItheAsshole. Makes me feel like I'm actually using my degree in ethics.

Also I hang out in fandom subreddits.

If you’re interested in fanfiction, r/FanFiction and r/AO3 aren’t bad. You can get some decent recs, help finding lost fics, or writing advice and resources.

People are generally chill, I think. And the mods are pretty good at enforcing the “no bashing” rule.

There's a method, you want a sub big enough to be active but small enough that it dosen't just repeat the same generic stuff over and over. 1-100k is my zone, once we get to 500k it's garbage.

I love the subs for the games I play, like r/PikminBloomApp, r/Against_the_Storm, and r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker. It's partly filled with folks who play the games *way* too seriously but its awesome seeing fanart and character discussion and *really* specific memes.

r/DanielTigerConspiracy is fun, it's a bunch of parents talking about the little kids shows that consume their lives. Lots of conspiracies and picking apart plot holes. I don't have kids, I've never seen a full episode of Paw Patrol, I don't know fuck about shit about Bluey but I love this sub.

r/chairsunderwater pictures of chairs. under water. The NSFW filter is used for chairs that are Not Submerged Fully in Water.

r/FandomHistory is slow but occasionally neat.

r/discworld is just really pleasant.

I don’t use reddit a lot, but I generally like: r/nosleep and r/oddlysatifying. R/AmITheAsshole can be fun. As can r/insanepeoplefacebook, r/oldpeoplefacebook, and other subreddits about boomers and older people with bad takes and newspaper comic-like humor, conspiracy theorists and antivaxxers, things like that. I used to peruse r/niceguys, r/entitledparents and subreddits like that about making fun of the worst kinds people, and watched some YouTube videos that read some of the subreddits out, but it’s been a while because I find that kind of thing more depressing than funny these days. I also sometimes go to r/nothingeverhappens, because I find r/thathappened infuriatingly smug and superior a lot of the time in it’s nature of viewing everything from a lens of cynicism, even when it makes no sense to doubt something. I’m not saying there aren’t some posts of people obviously lying, but it’s not always the case, and it’s not always something anyone would gain anything from lying about in the first place.

I don’t really do fandom on Reddit, but some fandom oriented subreddits I find interesting meta discussions sometimes for some fandoms I’m part of is r/steinsgate and r/TypeMoon.
