it's very hard to tell whether this opinion is sincere or whether it's calculated to be provocative. if it is sincere, it's absolutely both morally wrong and factually ridiculous to characterize objections to transphobia as "reveling in misogyny".

And here lies the crux of the problem. Objecting to transphobia in and of itself is obviously not wrong and is not what I'm referring to. It's the way that it's wielded by a great many people in the most vitriolic poisonous misogynistic way possible.

Just as there's nothing wrong with being concerned for your own safety based on previous experience. It's when you let that blind you to other issues nd turn you against another group of people that it becomes a problem.

Both sides are FUCKING ANNOYING and so entrenched in their own hate it's ridiculous.

The existence of trans people and their rights is not misogynistic. The other side wants to say that trans people, specifically mostly trans women, are dangerous just because they exist and want to be themselves and not be discriminated against.

This is complete nonsense.

First, you're acting as if every female transphobe was abused by men and is being transphobic specifically because of the trauma from said abuse, which is nonsense.

Second, you are acting as if everyone who speaks out against JKR is doing so for (rampantly!) misogynistic reasons, and not just that but "gleefully reveling" in it? That's just evidently false, as can be seen even here whenever the topic comes up. Are some critics of JKR misogynistic? Yes, of course, given the amount of critics she has that's inevitable. But calling it rampant and gleeful and pretending it's like that every time is nonsense.

Third, if you are playing oppression Olympics and choosing your side by who suffered more, surely you would side with trans folk who are constantly erased, mocked, vilified, threatened and even killed just for who they are. Not what they've done, just who they are. Does why is the hurt they experience and the abuse they suffered less sympathy worthy?

Are you suggesting that all those women you sympathise with suffered hurt and abuse at the hands of transwomen? Because statistically speaking, that is highly unlikely.

More likely is that the hurt and abuse was dealt by (cis) men. And if that's what you meant, that the women were hurt and abused by men and that's why you sympathise with them and understand or even forgive their transphobia, then that's already a transphobic stance.

Transwomen are not men.
The women you sympathise with should fear and be hurtful towards men, the group that actually hurt them. Transwomen are an entirely different group of people and conflating the two points to transphobia completely unrelated to any trauma.
